Interceptor
INTERCEPTOR
Interceptor vehicles are special vehicles reserved for drivers within the PD that have passed their interceptor training and qualification. Every interceptor vehicle has it's own training drivers must undertake.
Interceptor SOPS:
· Interceptors will always respond to a 13A dispatch call breaking off from any current active or training exercise (unless deemed unecessary by incident command).
· Incident command can request interceptors to respond to specific incidents as they occur or escalate.
· Interceptors can respond to dispatch calls but must relinquish incident command to the next officer who arrives on scene.
· Interceptors may only patrol when the police have five or more units on duty.
· A maximum of two interceptors are allowed to be on patrol at one time.
TRT:
· The Trt is a vehicle specialised in high speed highway pursuits.
· The Trt is to be used for rapid response.
· The Trt is to be used to respond to criminal activities in Los Santos, Blaine County And Paleto Bay.
· The Trt can engage in pursuits within the city limits and the highway but must pull off once backup arrives (unless deemed necessary for the pursuit).
GROWLER:
· The Growler is a vehicle specialised in highspeed technical pursuits (rat runs).
· The Growler can be used to respond to criminal activities in Los Santos, Blaine County And Paleto Bay.
· The Growler can engage in pursuits within the city limits but must pull off once backup arrives (unless deemed necessary for the pursuit).
HELLFIRE:
· The Hellfire is a vehicle that is not specialised in a specific department a good all rounder.
· The Hellfire can be used to respond to criminal activities in Los Santos, Blaine County And Paleto Bay.
· The Hellfire can engage in pursuits within the city limits and the highway but must pull off once backup arrives (unless deemed necessary for the pursuit).
Misuse of the interceptor will lead to:
· 1st offense: Warning.
· 2nd offense: Removal of interceptor license for every vehicle for 1 week.
· 3nd offense: Removal of interceptor license for every vehicle for 2 weeks.
· 4th offense: Removal of interceptor license for the minimum of 1 month. After the period of 1 month the person in question can request their license back during a special hearing with interceptor leads who will decide upon the outcome. If rejected the person has to wait another month to appeal again.
