Recruitment & Application Process

Application Submission

Individuals wishing to join the department must submit an application via the official portal:

Applicants are required to complete the registration process and submit their CV for review. Incomplete applications may not be considered.


End-to-End Recruitment Process

The recruitment process is structured to ensure all candidates meet departmental standards and expectations.

1. Application Submission

The candidate registers and submits their CV through the official application portal.

2. Application Review

A member of Leadership reviews the submitted CV to assess suitability, experience, and overall eligibility.

3. Interview Invitation

If successful at the initial review stage, a member of Leadership will contact the candidate to arrange a formal interview.

  • The interview will be conducted by two members of Leadership.

  • Interviews will follow the structured format outlined in the Training Handbook Interview Process Sheet.

4. Interview Assessment

The candidate’s suitability, professionalism, knowledge, and attitude will be assessed in line with departmental standards.

5. Appointment as Cadet

If successful, the candidate will be formally appointed as a Cadet.

6. Initial Issue of Uniform & Equipment

Upon appointment:

  • The Cadet will be issued approved department clothing.

  • The Cadet will receive induction training covering basic firearms handling.

  • The Cadet will be issued required operational equipment.

7. Operational Introduction

Following induction:

  • The Cadet may begin supervised ride-alongs with an Officer or higher rank.

  • The Cadet will continue practical exposure while awaiting formal Police Academy training.
