Training
There will be multiple forms on training: On the job, class room and field. Officer and above will be expected to train cadets and pass on knowledge.
On the Job
A cadets journey will begin with ride along shifts, this is designed to ease a cadet into their new role and allow them to shadow and learn from experienced officers. As you progress through these ride along sessions your perfomance will be evaluted against a number of assesments both pratical and theory based. Once you have completed all of your practical based assessments you can be singed off as a solo cadet, at this point you will be able to be on duty alone and be in your own cruiser. The solo cadet phase is designed to allow cadets time to think for themselves and grow into the role.
Field Training
Dedicated field training officers will be expected to conduct specific training and evaluate cadets on the job and in dedicated classroom and field based exercises.
Police Academy
The attendance of police academy will be mandatory for all officers, this ensure a level of consitency in our training and is an oppertunity for team building. Although you can pass out to officer without attending Police Academy, your attendance will be expected at the next available session.
