This SOP outlines the procedure for accessing the Security Cameras application available to Law Enforcement Officers (LEO).

2. Accessing Security Cameras

• The Security Cameras application can be accessed through the department-issued tablet.

• Open the tablet and select the Security Cameras application from the menu.

• Access is restricted to authorised Law Enforcement personnel only.

3. Usage Guidelines

• Cameras may only be accessed for legitimate law enforcement purposes.

• Officers must ensure use is directly related to an active investigation, incident, or operational need.

• Any footage relevant to a case should be documented and referenced in the associated report.

• Unauthorised access or misuse of the Security Cameras system may result in disciplinary action.

• All usage is subject to review by Command Staff if required.
