*In order to drive the Buffalo STX a time trial must be complete with an FTO, you will then be allocated the advanced driving cert within the roster. Note that there are SWAT and Detective liveries for these vehicles, these can be out and will not count towards the STX number count unless they are actively being involved in pursuits.
** No Certification or training is required for Boats but training may be provider to enhance usage.

1. Purpose
This SOP outlines access permissions and certification requirements for departmental vehicle garages.
2. Standard Fleet Garage
The Standard Fleet is available to all sworn officers.
No additional certification is required to access standard patrol vehicles.
Officers are responsible for ensuring vehicles are used appropriately and returned in good condition.
3. Interceptors & Motorbikes Garage
Access to Interceptors and Police Motorbikes requires the appropriate valid certification.
Officers must hold current qualification before deploying these vehicles.
Use of these vehicles must comply with their respective unit SOPs.
4. Air Support (Helicopter) Garage
Access to Helicopters requires valid Aviation/Air Support certification.
Only certified pilots may deploy and operate air units.
All aviation operations must follow Air Support policy.
Officers found operating restricted vehicles without proper certification may be subject to disciplinary action.
