Equipment
All equipment you require will be available from the armory and will be free of charge. You should only carry the amount of equipment you need for the shift.
This SOP outlines the process for the return of police equipment, including firearms, tasers, and other issued items, by law enforcement officers in the State of San Andreas upon resignation, retirement, or termination.
This SOP applies to all sworn law enforcement officers, including cadets, regardless of rank or agency within the State of San Andreas, who are separating from their employment under any circumstances.
Prior to the separation , a member of the San Andreas Law Enforcement, preferably a member of leadership or higher, shall conduct an inventory of all issued equipment. The inventory shall include all equipment issued to the officer, such as firearms, tasers, radios, badges, and other items specified in the department's policy.
The officer shall surrender all issued equipment to the member of the San Andreas Law Enforcement at the time of separation. The officer obtaining the equipment surrendered shall complete a PR (Property Return) Form, detailing all equipment returned by the departing officer.
A Property Return Form is a streamlined document that serves to identify the departing officer's name, the specific date of separation, the designated recipient officer responsible for receiving the transferred equipment, a comprehensive inventory of all returned items, and meticulous documentation of the serial numbers of serialized equipment.
The department shall immediately revoke access to all department facilities, systems, and databases upon separation. All personal belongings, including personal weapons, documents and other items in the separating officers locker must be removed. All vehicles parked in the personal parking that are owned by the separating officer, must be removed as well. Any officer with a personal PD vehicle, must speak to High Command regarding the forfeiture of this vehicle.
